Theological Leadership: Addressing Church Conflict

In the Spring Semester of 2001, Luther Seminary offered a course, "Addressing Church Conflict." It was team taught by Stephen Ramp and Pat Taylor Ellison. The course was designed to introduce students to helpful theoretical and practical ways of understanding and responding to conflict in the church. The class was divided into teams which produced projects applying the learnings from the course.

Pastors and other church leaders and teachers may find these materials helpful in educating people about conflict. Included are projects dealing with teens, leadership council, adult education, retreats, and worship materials. Feel free to browse, borrow, and adapt this material for your own practice of ministry. (To view these files, you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader, which you can download free from Adobe.)
