Wee Care is a state-licensed Christian day care for children
ages 16 months through kindergarten. It is open to children of
Luther Seminary students, staff and faculty, as well as to children
from families in our surrounding community.
Wee Care is located at 1570 Eustis Street
in the
Sandgren Apartments at Luther Seminary. Our hours are
from 7:30
a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday throughout the year,
except for certain holidays.
Nurturing Young Minds and Bodies
Young minds
learn best through play activities. At Wee Care, ample tim e is given for children to learn important skills through play and
creative activities such as music, art and storytelling. A
lesson plan is posted which lists the art, science, dramatic
play, music and math projects the children will enjoy throughout
the week. The bright, cheerful rooms at Wee Care offer plenty of
space for play and activities. Take a
look inside Wee Care!
Dedicated and Caring Staff
Wee Care staff are kind, caring and dedicated child care
professionals who are committed to the emotional, physical and
spiritual well-being of children. The stable and positive
Christian environment provides a strong foundation for the next
phase of a child's education.
Get to know
our teachers!
It is important for the parents and teachers to communicate
important information clearly, with mutual trust and
confidentiality. Parent-teacher conferences are scheduled twice
a year. Informal parents' meetings are held monthly.
