Brown Bag lunch Friday, Oct. 13

Friday, October 13 will be the kick-off event of the new SPOT format. Instead of one day of enrichment, as we have done in the past, we will be having multiple speakers throughout the year.

Our first speaker is our very own seminary pastor, John Mann. He'll be speaking with you, the seminary professionals, about his role at Luther for both students and professionals.

Please bring your lunch to Dining Room C around 11:30 a.m. We'll have some time of fellowship and lunch, then Pastor Mann will speak with time following for more conversation with him and others.

Thank you!

Last Monday's Fall Gathering was a great success! The new professionals and faculty were introduced to the community and many enjoyed food and conversation during the afternoon event.

Today's Quote

Are there seasons in heaven?
In God's anteroom are there windows
that look out on trees like these -

each leaf a note for the brass
ensemble of autumn -
the dry ones castanets

clicking: October, October.
Can heaven itself be golden
enough to rival all this?
