Shadowlands at the Theatre in the Round

Luther Seminary (Student Services) has 10 tickets available for faculty and Professionals for the show on November 3 at the Theatre in the Round in St. Paul. The ticket price is $18 ($2 off the regular price). Contact Victoria Smith if you are interested in one or two tickets. They can be paid for and picked up at the theatre.

About the Show: This West End and Broadway hit is based on the real-life story of C. S. Lewis, Oxford don and author of The Chronicles of Narnia, who lost his heart late in life to Joy Gresham, the American poet. Lewis is smug in his convictions about God and His plan for the world until Joy and her young son enter his life. Only then does the bewildered theoretician of love face its reality — and is completely changed. Winner of the Tony Award for Best Play.

Helping others

During the weeks of October 30 until November 10, SPOT will be providing bins around campus to collect donations for the Luther Seminary Student Food Shelf and the Merriam Park Community Food Shelf (located on University Ave.).
Donations will be divided between the groups.

Please think of helping others during this holiday time.

Thank you

Dear Barbara McCauley and LS Staff,

Thank you for participating in the St. Paul Area of Churches Annual School Tool Drive.

Keystone community services was just one of several agencies to benefit from your generosity.

And through the kindness of many donors we were able to provide over 1,300 students with the necessary school supplies. Thank you for making a difference!
