Absences

If it is necessary for you to be late or absent, you are expected to inform your supervisor or department head as early as possible, but no later than 8:00 a.m. each day.

A. Special Seminary Assignment

Meetings, conferences, conventions, continuing education. During these absences, the seminary will pay your regular salary and benefits plus expenses.

B. Service in the Church

Election or appointment to church related committee or assemblies. During these absences, the seminary may assume some financial responsibilities.

C. Other Absences

Voting, medical/dental appointments, etc. Time away from the seminary during normal working hours for responsibilities or appointments of this nature may be granted (not to exceed time necessary for the appointment). Salaried employees would be paid for this time.
