Confidentiality

In your work you may have access to information which has been obtained in confidence and whose confidentiality you MUST honor. It is the responsibility of each of us to provide information from student files, reports from our associates, etc., only to those persons who have a need to know the information due to their job responsibilities at the seminary.

Breach of confidential information or inappropriate discussions regarding confidential information may result in discipline including immediate discharge. Violations of this policy are to be reported to the Vice President for Administration and Finance.

In several sections of this handbook you are asked to consult the vice president for administration when matters pertaining to certain policies and procedures arise. In such instances where the vice president for administration is unavailable, you should consult with the Vice President for Administration and Finance.
