Time and Compensation
A. Office Hours
Administrative offices function from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, from September to May, with a one hour lunch break. Summer hours for June through August are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Friday, with a one-half hour lunch break. Exact dates for summer hours are communicated through the office of the Vice President for Administration and Finance.
B. Rest Periods
You may take one rest period or break of 15 minutes in the middle of each four hour working period. The scheduling of break times must be approved by your supervisor or department head. Offices will normally remain open with at least one person on duty during rest periods.
C. Chapel
You are invited to attend daily Chapel at 11:00 a.m. It may be necessary for your supervisor to formulate a schedule of attendance on a rotating basis. Offices shall not conduct business with students during Chapel periods but shall open immediately following Chapel.
D. Holidays
The seminary observes the following 13, paid holidays in the calendar year. A schedule of the exact dates will be sent from campus services.

E. Seminary Closings
If you wish to find out whether the seminary will be closed due to inclement weather, listen to WCCO radio/TV or KSTP radio/TV or call the seminary switchboard starting at 8:00 a.m. Salaried and scheduled hourly personnel are paid if the president closes the seminary.
