STEWARDSHIP WITH ADULTS UNDER 40: POSSIBILITIES ABOUND
July 29 - 31, 2013
Are you interested in engaging young adults in stewardship conversations and in growth in generosity? Are you curious about the generational dynamics and characteristics of adults under 40? If so, we invite you to a three-day event at Luther Seminary this coming July.
Nationally known speaker Nathan Dungan will kick-off the conference with two presentations on the money journey of Generation X and the Millennials. We will then move into a time of biblical imagination looking together at what texts might be helpful in the discussion of generosity and young adults. We will also look at how generational differences play out in a congregational setting. However, the bulk of the conference will be spent engaging practitioners who are working with young adults in a variety of contexts-congregational, academic, and synodical. We will wonder together what challenges and opportunities young adults are experiencing and how we might innovate with them in our own contexts.
We encourage you to join us as well as to invite young adults in your congregation to attend with you! For more information about the event speakers and presentations, please visit the Course Speakers and Course Schedule pages. PLEASE NOTE: This is NOT a Rethinking Stewardship event, this is a Kairos Course. While this event will include engaging conversation and renowned speakers, like Rethinking Stewardship, it does not include some of the "extras" such as meals. It also follows a bit of a different schedule.
