Christmas gift alternative
TOYS, TOYS AND MORE TOYS . . . or Something Else for Christmas?
Do your children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews have all of the toys they need? Are you looking for a way to make your Christmas gifts
this year truly "Christ centered?" If so, consider
an investment (minimum $50) in a MissionFuture4KIDZ through the ELCA's Mission Investment Fund.
MissionFuture4KIDZ allows you to give a financial gift to a young person (under 16 years of age) and support mission in the ELCA at the same time! The minimum investment is $50, and you (and others) may add to the investment as desired (for birthdays, graduations, Easter, etc.) The money you invest in a MissionFuture-4KIDZ is loaned to ELCA mission and established congregations until the investment matures on the child's 18th birthday.
In addition to the actual investment, these gifts give you a reason to talk about God's love with children and teens. After all, God's love, shown to us so clearly in Jesus' life on earth, is the very best gift we will ever receive.
Make the switch from toys, toys and more toys -- to a Christ-centered gift this Christmas!
