A list of questions designed to engage seniors in a discussion about living a purposeful life.

The Prime Timers were invited to form a small discussion group. Each group was given a stack of cards each of which had one of the questons on them.  They were to each choose a card and answer the question.

As your generation looks to the future, what worries and concerns does it face?  

How are those worries and concerns the same/different from other generations?

What one thing do you know now that you wish you had learned long ago?

How would your life be different today if you knew then what you know now?

What would you tell the younger generations about living on purpose?

How do your wisdom and life experience shape your understanding of living on purpose?

What value is there for a faith statement at this stage of life?

What contributions can your generation make to the world that are unique and particular?

In your own words describe a life lived on purpose.  Identify an example of some having done so.

What is the greatest barrier to living life on God's purposes for you?  For your generation?  For a younger generation?

What is the most important message the world needs to hear today from the church?

What are the greatest challenges people face as they enter retirement?  How can the church make a difference?
