Unfortunately, Mark Allan Powell did not make use of PowerPoint. However, all conference participants will receive a copy of the Word & World supplement containing written versions of the presentations.

There was a sheet available that listed the various books used by or written by the presenters, and a means to order those books. I did not get a copy of the sheet, and I've forgotten how to order them with the special "no shipping costs" that the conference offered. Could someone clue me in? A private reply is fine, if that information shouldn't be on this public venue. Thanks! Kay

Is Mark Allan Powell's material going to be put on this site as well?

Based on on speaker mentioning that two great needs for a person are to belong, and to make a difference, I began to make a connection between Stewardship & Evangelism, with the notion that stewardship itself can be a great evangelism tool. What better place than the church to say, You belong here & w/ power of Holy Spirit, we can equip you to make a difference int he world, for Jesus' sake? One of the "vendors" told me his church has already made that link & is doing some work along those lines. Anyone else thinking or doing something with that interconnection??

Presented the key ideas (for me) to our stewardship team last night. Had a great conversation around steward as core identity, and stewardship is the mission, among other things. Also the whole, "we can't pay it back, so pay it forward" theme. Lots to think about. People really appreciated the conversation.
