Luther and PLTS “TEEM” Up to Provide Innovative Theological Education
TEEM is designed to benefit churches serving various ethnic-specific ministries. By September 2007, the TEEM program at Luther and its counterpart at PLTS in Berkeley, Calif., will be one and the same. The TEEM-building merger will offer students the combination of PLTS’s more extensive program with Luther’s larger faculty.

Machado Named Western Mission Cluster Coordinator For Vocational Formation
Luther Seminary and Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary (PLTS) have appointed Rev. José Antonio Machado as the new coordinator for vocational formation in the Western Mission Cluster, a partnership between Luther and PLTS. Machado, ’89, has served parishes in Puerto Rico, Miami, Fla. and most recently Minneapolis-St. Paul.

D.Min.’s Project Becomes Call for Transformation for Moravian Congregations
Betsy Miller joined Luther Seminary’s Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.) program in Congregational Mission and Leadership because it closely matched her new job title with the Moravian Church. And what a match it proved to be: Her first major course project became a call for transformation that was presented to leaders of about 40 Moravian churches from Michigan to California this year.
