Immunizations
Minnesota Statutes, Section 135A.14, of the MN College Immunization Law requires that all students born in 1957 or later who are enrolled in more than one course must provide documentation of immunization. Those students who are only enrolled in extension or correspondence classes are exempt from the law.
This law was enacted by the Minn. legislature in the spring of 1989 in response to the growing concern over outbreaks of vaccine-preventable diseases such as measles and mumps on college campuses.
Failure to comply with this law can put student enrollment in jeopardy.
