Orientation

Welcome to Luther Seminary!

Each fall the week before classes begin, new students participate in FirstWeek—four days of activities designed to introduce you to life at Luther Seminary. FirstWeek is Orientation, Luther Seminary style.

New students spend time in the following activities: a day of service and learning in the community, meals and refreshments, workshops, special presentations, worship, degree program meetings, faculty presentations, discipleship groups, and words of welcome from the seminary president and the dean of students. You also receive a packet full of all kinds of important information you need to know to navigate your way through seminary.

Below are links to much of the information given at Orientation. If you can’t find what you are looking for, please contact Judy Hedman in the Office of the Dean of Students at stdntsrv@lulthersem.edu.
