The Olson Campus Center is the newest building on campus. It was built in 1982, after Luther Seminary and Northwestern Seminary were merged. (About the time of the LBW-the green hymnal). To honor both seminaries and help visually merge the 2 schools and traditions, this building was designed to house “common ground”—Chapel, Dining Rooms, Board Room and Bookstore—large enough for all. It was placed half-way between the two campuses. Three houses were moved to other parts of the campus in order to build here.

The art work in the building rotates and changes but always reminds all of us here that people come here to learn about God and go some place else to tell that story. Each culture tells that story in different ways visually and we can all learn from each other.

This is the Chapel of the Incarnation—the largest space on campus. It seats 600+ and is used for daily worship. It also can be used as a classroom, a lecture hall, theatre space, concert hall or rental space for weddings, etc. The art work changes for each liturgical season.

The Bookstore is downstairs and open to all!! It is considered the best theological bookstore in North America. Many people from many faiths come here to shop.
