Every other movie coming out these days seems to be a remake of an older film. Could the film industry possibly have run out of new ideas? No, but the old ideas don’t cost as much to develop, so the studios see dollar signs, combined with the potential of tapping into the nostalgia of the older market and the excitement of introducing the younger market to a faster, louder, flashier version of the old film.
