Daily Chapel

Cultivate your spiritual life

Worship in ChapelChapel is a time set aside in the daily life of our community to come together as people of God in prayer, praise and proclamation of the gospel through word, sacrament, prayer, music and silence. As we come together our individual faith is nurtured, our communal beliefs and habits develop and the community is provided the opportunity for mutual conversation and consolation.

Weekly schedule

Each day that classes are in session, the community gathers at 11 a.m. for worship. Our general pattern for daily chapel follows a structure which offers flexibility and openness in terms of musical styles, prayer practices, and preaching schedule:

Mondays 5:05 pm Cup of Blessing in OCC Dining Hall
Tuesdays 11-11:25a Prayer & Praise (emphasis on contemporary, cross-cultural and global music)
Wednesdays 11-11:40a Service of Holy Communion with preaching
Thursdays 11-11:25a Service of the Word (preaching office)
  Fridays 11-11:25a Taizé Prayer Service

Chapel is held in the Chapel of the Incarnation in Olson Campus Center during the academic year.
In the summer months, chapel is held in the Chapel of the Cross in Northwestern Hall.
