Pray and Break Bread: Looking Back on 2014 - 2015
We're celebrating a successful first year of Pray and Break Bread! Through four urban immersion trips, we brought Luther Seminary students, staff and faculty off-campus to meet and listen to our neighbors. We witnessed transformative models of community activism and ministry, and had powerful conversations around trip themes including interfaith dialogue, LGBTQIA advocacy, and housing justice.
Our huge thanks go to Bethlehem Lutheran for their grant supporting this first year of Pray and Break Bread. To let Bethlehem and other partners know what we've been doing, Katherine Parent has put together a report on Pray and Break Bread's 2014-2015 trip. Take a look! Perhaps you'd like to support us, join one of our trips next year, or do something similar in your own context!
