On July 1, the Luther Seminary community will welcome Carla Dahl as professor of congregational and community care leadership. She previously served Luther Seminary in the same capacity from 2011-2013.
Dahl received her Bachelor of Arts from Bethel University, her Master of Arts in counseling psychology from the University of St. Thomas and her Ph.D. in family social science from the University of Minnesota. She has extensive experience both as a licensed minister in the Baptist General Conference, as well as a professor in a number of higher education institutions. She is currently the professor of formation and associate director for leader development at Bethel University in St. Paul, Minn.
Dahl is excited to be returning to Luther Seminary. She will bring her passion for teaching, program development and leader formation to her position. She looks forward to further shaping the new curriculum and co-curricular process for students, as well as collaborating with trusted colleagues from a variety of disciplines and divisions.
Dahl will return to Luther Seminary on July 1.
