Give to the Max and double your gift to Luther Seminary on Nov. 16
Mark your calendar! Give to the Max Day is just around the corner!
On Wednesday, Nov. 16, join in a day of generous giving to Luther Seminary and other nonprofit organizations across the state of Minnesota as GiveMN.org sponsors the third annual Give to the Max Day, open to donations from any state or location.
Luther Seminary is excited to again participate in this philanthropic celebration. All gifts to Luther Seminary given on Nov. 16 will receive a 1:1 match from a friend of Luther, doubling the impact of your gift.
Donations to Luther Seminary given on Give to the Max Day will support Luther's Sustaining Fund. This helps reduce the cost of tuition, create strong programming for students and the broader church and attract the best and brightest students and faculty members.
Last year 276 Luther Seminary supporters help Luther raise the fourth highest amount of any college or university, during the 24-hour online event. By giving a gift to Luther Seminary on Nov. 16, you can help us towards our goal of being in one of the top three colleges and universities and receiving an additional $5,000, $10,000 or $15,000 in grant money.
Create your GiveMN.org profile
Give to the Max Day is just days away, and we don't want you to miss out. If you go to Luther Seminary's profile on GiveMN.org and become a fan of Luther Seminary, we'll send you a reminder so you can show your support and double your gift with our 1:1 match!
Make your gift go even further with a Golden Ticket!
On Give to the Max Day, one donor will be randomly chosen each hour to receive a golden ticket, which adds $1,000 to that donation. In addition to the 24 golden tickets, one $10,000 grand golden ticket will be randomly given at 11:59 p.m. out of all of the gifts received during the 24-hour period. The more times you, your friends and your family give, the greater the odds of making your gift go further!
"My wife had me up in the middle of the night making donations to Luther Seminary because there was a better chance to get a (golden ticket) match," said loyal Luther Seminary donor Bob Torkelson. "What a great program this is! I am excited to give to it again this year."
