Faith and leadership in a time of change
The church is entering a new era that has been dominated by technological change. Experiences of time and space are not what they used to be. Identity and meaning are harder to fashion and define. And the church seems to exercise less and less influence in the way we see the world.
How do we articulate the gospel message to those seeking God in a time when the world is in constant flux? Moreover, how do we lead congregations during such rapid change? Mid-Winter Convocation 2012, Feb. 1-3, will focus on how to be a bold and faithful Christian leader in today’s changing world.
Keynote speakers:
- Diana Butler Bass, author, speaker and educator
- Andrew Root, Carrie Olson Baalson chair in children, youth and family ministry, Luther Seminary
