Give to the Max Day is tomorrow! On Nov. 15, join in a day of statewide giving to Luther Seminary and other Minnesota nonprofits during the fourth annual Give to the Max Day. Last year more than 47,000 donors gave more than $13 million to support Minnesota nonprofits.
Even if you do not live in Minnesota, you can still join in on this day of generous giving! Last year, 200 Luther Seminary supporters from across the country went to GiveMN.org on behalf of Luther Seminary.
Gifts to Luther Seminary on Give to the Max Day will support the Sustaining Fund and be doubled with the Max Match. Your gift will go where it is needed most to impact seminary education for future church leaders.
Give to the Max Day is a wonderful way to support Luther Seminary and future church leaders outside of your regular giving. John LeMond, ’81, is a loyal Luther Seminary donor who also participates in Give to the Max Day.
“I began an amazing journey of discovery 35 years ago at Luther Seminary, and the foundation that was laid at that time continues to support me in ways I could never have imagined,” LeMond says. “I rejoice to think that future generations of students will have a similar opportunity.”
Make your gift go even further with a Golden Ticket
In addition to being doubled with the Max Match, your gift will have two other chances to be increased on Give to the Max Day. One donor every hour will be randomly chosen to receive a golden ticket and have $1,000 added to their gift.
Then, at the end of Give to the Max Day, there will be a grand prize Golden Ticket. Out of all gifts given during the 24-hour period, one donor will have an extra $10,000 added to their gift. The more times you give, the greater the odds of making your gift go further!
