Digital Commons - update after first two years
In January 2016, we launched Digital Commons @ Luther Seminary as a digital repository for the intellectual output and heritage of Luther Seminary. In the intervening two years we have added hundreds of student theses and papers, faculty articles, historic photographs, audio recordings of the Luther Seminary Choir, and more. These items have been downloaded more than 17,000 times! Our dashboard shows readership across over one hundred fifty countries. While a vast majority of downloads occur in the United States (9919), we also had over 600 downloads in the UK, 1523 in Europe, 1400 in Africa, 538 in Korea, and elsewhere worldwide. In 2017 we were able to add the complete journal Estudios Exegeticos Homileticos. This resource, not available elsewhere, was downloaded over 550 times. We also added the now ceased Journal for Christian Theological Research, and look forward to adding yet more content and spreading the word further in 2018!
