Luther Community Mourns Death of Dr. Richard Wallace
The seminary community is saddened by the unexpected death of Richard Wallace, associate professor of pastoral care. Dr. Wallace died in his home on Tuesday, Aug. 30, of an apparent heart attack.
In a communication to the seminary community, President Bliese wrote, “Please remember his wife Beverly and the family in your prayers. Include our whole seminary community in your petitions as we begin to grieve the death of a beloved and cherished colleague, friend, teacher and mentor. Richard had a gentle but direct way to touch people’s hearts and lives. We will miss him.”
