| From Cnidus in Asia Minor, Paul's ship turned south, battling the winds. They sought shelter on the island of Crete. The ship stopped briefly at a place called Fair Havens on the southern coast of Crete. Since the harbor was not suitable for wintering, they attempted to reach a port called Phoenix, which was further west on Crete. | ||||
