Student Information

What kind of Christian Public Leader student would be right for you:I assume the CPL student has a sense of their own path God is leading them towards, and want to assist in providing resources and experiences that will further that journey.
How many students have you worked with in the past:1
How many rising students or seminarians do you work with currently:0
For this coming semester, what is the maximum number of students with whom you could work:2
What is the optimal length of learning for students working with you:4 semesters
Why would this length of time be best:Last year's CPL lives in the parsonage next to the church, and serves as our custodian. He is currently on internship at another church in the Twin Cities. It would be wonderful to have a new CPL for this year, and then next year, work with 2 (if the returning intern joins the continuing CPL).

Site Information - [THIS SITE IS FULL]

Site keywords:* revitalization grounded in a strong neighborhood context * building a multi-generational church community in a way that uses the strengths and gifts of all * urban setting
What is your congregation or nonprofit organization all about:Bethany aspires to be a community of the Body of Christ that proclaims the Gospel and welcomes all: the doubters, the unbelievers, the unfaithful, the sinners, the broken, the unholy. For these are who we are as well.
It is in the light of Christ's love that we learn these labels are nothing compared to who we truly are: beloved of God.
Please tell us a bit about your site:* using design principles (discover needs/explore responses/ create new/ use feedback to start the loop again) to discern God's mission for us in our context
* creating a sense of beauty and joy with the gifts God has given us
Please tell us what a student can learn at your site:* learn the realities of renewal!, the joys/challenges of bringing change to a congregation of strong traditions- creating a sense of discipleship rather than membership
