Congregation Description:Jacob's Well began in the fall of 2006 as an emergent congregation developed for people who don't like church. It is committed to being outwardly focused so people can be the church rather than have one. We gather at 10:30 Sundays in two locations. Worship is creative and innovative and seeks to be very welcoming to the 'uninitiated,' speaking the language of those who have given up on church. We have a strong children's worship and learning component called H2O. Nursery, middle and high school programs are also running. Beyond worship we strongly emphasize GroupLife (small groups). Outreach happens through groups and strategic relationships. We are financially independent. We also used the summer of 2011 to do a major reassessment of our mission and how we live it out. Results from that focus (Pause Listen Learn) and have been implementing changes throughout the Fall2011 and 2012 season.
