Explore Stewardship with Adults under 40

Are you interested in engaging young adults in stewardship conversations and in growth in generosity? For three days, leading congregational and synodical ministers, faculty members and other stewardship experts will explore the topic of Stewardship for Adults under 40. Join us for exciting conversations around growth and generosity in young adults, July 29-31 at Luther Seminary.

"I hope that this event will inform and enliven people of all ages as well as invite them into conversation around the specific stewardship opportunities and challenges that are facing Millennials and Generation Xers," says Grace Duddy, assistant director of the Center for Stewardship Leaders at Luther Seminary.

The event will kick off with Nathan Dungan, founder and president of Share, Save, Spend, a website dedicated to "helping youth and adults achieve financial sanity by developing and maintaining healthy money habits that link to their values." Some of the speakers are themselves under the age of 40. They can speak firsthand about the generational differences that can play out in congregations, and about how young people view money and generosity. They hope to put a fresh and fun spin on the topic of stewardship, while grounding their presentations in biblical truths.

"The church has a unique opportunity to engage young adults on their journey to living grateful, generous lives," says Duddy.
