Experience Luther In-Person or Online!
We are excited that you are interested in learning more about Luther Seminary! Attending a campus visit virtually or in-person is an excellent way to explore seminary, ask questions, and connect with conversation partners who will help you explore the question, “How is God calling me forward and what is my next best most faithful step?”
Campus visits are offered to individuals Tuesday – Thursday in the morning and mid-day and include a conversation with an admissions representative, a campus tour with a student ambassador, and an opportunity to worship.
The worship options are as follows on a typical week:
- Tuesday – Service of the Word with senior student, staff and guest preachers
- Wednesdays – Service of Holy Communion with staff and faculty preachers
- Thursdays – Contemplative Service with Lectio Divina
You can expect your campus visit to last about 2-4 hours depending on your areas of interest. You may also choose to add another hour to visit to an in-person or virtual classroom (pending availability on scheduled date).
Limited guest housing is available for individuals interested in scheduling an overnight stay. Please note the on-campus guest housing is limited to one single room with two single beds – larger groups are encouraged to make arrangements at nearby hotels.
Whether you’re learning about seminary for the first time or you have already applied, we highly recommend scheduling a campus visit as part of your discernment journey and look forward to learning more about you and how it is God is calling you forward in ministry.
Please email our Welcome Coordinator at firstname.lastname@example.org with questions.
