Commencement weekend at Luther Seminary began with a baccalaureate service in the Chapel of the Incarnation on May 20. Kathryn Schifferdecker, the Elva B. Lovell chair of Old Testament, preached, and David Fredrickson ’80 M.Div., professor of New Testament, presided at Holy Communion. The commencement ceremony was held on May 21 at Central Lutheran Church in Minneapolis. Rolf Jacobson, dean of the faculty, preached, and M.Div. candidate Kristen Mass was the student speaker. The class of 2023 included more than 130 graduates.
