On June 17, Luther Seminary will welcome renowned preacher and teacher Will Willimon to deliver the 2025 Aus Lecture on Evangelism titled “Jesus: The Most Interesting Word We Have for the World.” A bishop in the United Methodist Church, Willimon served as the dean of Duke Chapel and professor of Christian ministry at Duke University for 20 years. He is the author of over 70 books and editor-at-large for The Christian Century. The Aus Lecture series focuses on evangelism in memory of George Aus, a prominent evangelist and professor of systematic theology at Luther Seminary from 1939 to 1973.
This free, public event will be held in person on campus and livestreamed via Faith+Lead. Register at luthersem.edu/aus25.
