Word & World has received a new three-year grant from the 1521 Foundation. Totaling $57,000, the grant will fund the publication of three additional special issues: one per year from 2027 to 2029. The first issue will contain the theological writings of Gerhard Forde ’55, professor emeritus of systematic theology, celebrating the 100th anniversary of his birth. A second issue will explore the theological writings of Forde’s colleagues and friends, and the third issue will contain the works of contemporary Lutheran theologians.
