2022 Golden Reunion: Wednesday, May 25, 2022
Mark your calendar for this year’s 50th Golden Reunion, celebrating Luther Seminary’s classes of 1970, 1971, and 1972!
We also invite all alumni who graduated prior to 1970, along with emeriti faculty and spouses of graduates from 1970 and prior.
This year’s Golden Reunion will look a bit different due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
The safety and welfare of our alumni are a top priority. We’re excited to welcome to campus all who feel comfortable attending in person, and we ask that all those attending be vaccinated or have received a negative COVID-19 test result within 72 hours prior to the event in order to join the celebration.
This year’s Golden Reunion will be focused on the past and present of Luther Seminary. We invite attendees to participate in a worship service and community meal on campus and interact with current seminary students, faculty, and staff.
All of the reunion events will be hosted at Luther Seminary in the Olson Campus Center. Here is a tentative schedule of events for the day:
10:30 a.m. Olson Campus Center open for conversation, coffee, and pastries
11 a.m. Worship with Holy Communion, President Robin Steinke preaching
12 p.m. Community meal with Luther Seminary students, faculty and staff
1:30 p.m. Class photo
1:45 p.m. Memorial service, social hour to follow
RSVP by April 30 online at luthersem.edu/giving or by leaving a voicemail at 651-523-1768. We’d love to hear from you, one way or another.
If you are from the classes of 1970, 1971, and 1972, we’d like your help in creating a class memory book. Use the online form to complete a survey before May 15 (even if you aren’t able to attend). We will compile the responses and include your class photo in an electronic memory book that will be shared via email.
