“Love Lives Again”
Love has come—again in the darkness! Love bursts forth at the dawn of the day.
See, the women have come to discover: Christ has arisen; death is conquered!
Love! Love! Love is the Word of Easter:
Love! Love! Love lives again today.
Love now lives—an angel proclaims it; Love is loose in creation again.
See, the wonder and glory of Jesus; Tell all the world what God is doing:
Love! Love! Love is the Way of Easter:
Love! Love! Love lives again today.
Love has come—and claims us forever. Love is word now unbounded and free.
Love is Jesus alive and among us. Love is our call and gift to others.
Love! Love! Love is the Truth of Easter:
Love! Love! Love lives again today.

Devotion
Here’s the truth: God is present in you. This same God who is in every season and in our witness, revealed at the margins and present in suffering, made known in blessings, in the word, and in love—this God is present in you. Christ is in you, and through the Spirit’s power, you are Christ-bearers to the world! And this aching, pandemic-stricken world needs you—needs us all!—to share Christ and make God’s love manifest in word and deed as we advocate and work for justice, mercy, and peace.
Love is loose in creation again, for this is Easter! We are called to tell the world what God is doing. Jesus is alive and among us in love; this is our call and gift. God is with us, and we as Christ’s church live out this holy love by sharing the promise with others. Love lives again today—in you!
Prayer
God behind and before us, God above and below us, God within and among us: by your love in Jesus, guide us to share Easter with the world. Amen.
