Katie Langston, director of digital strategy and executive communication specialist at Luther Seminary, was recently interviewed by Religion News Service about her new memoir, “Sealed: An Unexpected Journey Into the Heart of Grace.” The interview, “From Mormon missionary to Lutheran pastor,” was picked up by the Washington Post.
Langston’s memoir tells the story of her faith journey from her Mormon upbringing to her experience of grace and her decision to enroll in seminary and eventually join the ELCA. Langston said, “If someone read it (the memoir) and came away thinking ‘Mormons are bad,’ that’s not the point at all. The point is to bear witness to the experience of grace that I have had with God, and hopefully to allow others to see pieces of their story in my story.”
