Luther Seminary’s Admissions Office updated their website in Fall 2023 to better support students in discerning a call to seminary.
The website includes a new live chat where prospective students can interact with trained admissions ambassadors, as well as a new referral form.
“Mentors can refer an individual for whom they see gifts for ministry by completing a simple form that sends a one-time email to the individual with invitations to connect with Luther Seminary,” said Jessi LeClear Vachta, senior director of enrollment services.
The updated website is a response to a November 2022 survey managed by the Association of Theological Schools, in which nearly 80% of incoming Luther Seminary students indicated the school’s website was an important source of information.
“Given the data, we decided to rehaul the website to better tell an accurate and visually appealing narrative of the admissions experience including starting an application, visiting campus online or in person, attending an event, and learning more about our full-tuition scholarships and flexible program offerings,” LeClear Vachta said.
“Graduate recruitment is more challenging than ever before,” she added, “and we need your help to tell the story of Luther Seminary and its amazing access to a variety of high- quality theological education offerings. Not sure where to start? Send a link to the new admissions website and refer a student today.”
