Today is a good day to review the whole story of God’s grace—for you. Jesus’ conversation with Nicodemus is not just about that religious leader’s life or ancient Israel. Now the story of God’s grace and mercy opens up before all people. Starting with your birth and moving through the years, where have you experienced God’s love for you? Name the people, the challenges and the experiences that reassure you that God has always loved you.
Prayer
God, surprising in love, thank you for wrapping our lives in the grace and mercy of your love for all people. Help us see how your love shapes every day of our lives. We remember today those who are estranged from you and those who seek a sign of reconciliation from you. In Christ’s name we pray. Amen.
