Help Alleviate Student Debt – Andersons Match Scholarship Gifts
Janet Anderson is well informed about the issue of rising student debt—and the impact that debt has on seminary students and the larger church. Because the need for scholarship dollars is great, Janet, chair of the Luther Seminary Board of Trustees, and Brad Anderson are matching scholarship gifts through the end of the seminary’s fiscal year, which ends June 30. Through their scholarship matching gift, the Andersons hope to help make a difference for current students through reducing their debt and giving them the ability to be good stewardship leaders.

In the Company of Preachers, A New Preaching Resource

Best of all, by hearing others practice the craft, preachers will find themselves strengthened for the ministry of preaching.” – Thomas G. Long, Bandy Professor of Preaching, Candler School of Theology, Emory University, on In the Company of Preachers, a new preaching resource from Luther Seminary.
A Dream Becomes a Reality: First Graduates for New D. Min. Programs

There is no program like this in the whole country!” This is just one of the comments I heard at two wonderful dinners in April celebrating the first graduating classes of two new Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.) programs at Luther Seminary—Biblical Preaching and Congregational Mission and Leadership (CML). The testimonies I heard about the effectiveness of these programs were powerful and moving.
