What is your congregation or nonprofit organization all about:We are here to bear witness to Jesus into our community through worship, and service. We have a commitment to welcome and raise children, both through the church and the Child Care.
Please tell us a bit about your site:Faith Lutheran was formed as a mission church in 1948, and soon became independent. We serve a blue collar neighborhood, in the Peoria metro area. We intend to be the Body of Christ for the sake of the world, growing and reaching out together.
Please tell us what a student can learn at your site:Faith is a small but healthy congregation, which finds joy in worshiping and serving. We do well in living out Christian community, growing together, and reaching out. We are open to questions and struggles in life, knowing the strength of the Lord who calls us together.

I see my local ministry as a part of the larger work of the church, as conference dean, on Synod Council, and as Synod Finance Chair. I share my gifts with God's people locally and throughout the church to make Christ known.
Please tell us a little bit about yourself as a mentor of students:Christian Public Leadership is bearing the living Christ to the world through our words and deeds. It is being salt and light to change the reality of the community we live in. I love to explore faith and ideas, and how God is working among us. And I strive to see how faith will drive us out to serve the world for Jesus' sake.
