Congregation Description:Grace is a family friendly, neighborhood congregation. We are surrounded by homes, a farm field, and a junior high/elementary school complex. Grafton is an established community that is also growing in terms of new businesses.

Worship opportunities are currently Thursday evenings and Sunday mornings at 8 and 10:30, with one 9 am Sunday service during the summer months. Christian Education hour is 9:15 on Sundays. There is also Bible study on Thursday after worship, and a few other groups that meet at different times and appeal to different people.

Our two main outreach ministries are with All People's Church, an inner city ELCA congregation, and Meg's Mission, a medical mission and community redevelopment program that is headed up by a Grace member who lives in Nicaragua. We also house and support an Adult Literacy Center in our church.

We just voted to expand our music ministry program by combining some positions into a 3/4 time music director. We are also seriously considering the possibility of building expansion. Building and Capital Campaign committees have been formed, and preliminary, possible plans have been drawn up by an architect. It is a very exciting time at Grace!
Congregation Keywords:I would characterize our congregation as an outer ring suburb of Milwaukee. It is a largely Caucasian area, and the congregation reflects this. It is located in Ozaukee County, which is one of the wealthier counties in the state.

Autobiography:I came to Grace six years ago. This was a new position, which meant the congregation was growing and ready to do more ministry. It is a great place to serve.

I came from the Lutheran School of Theology in Chicago, and spent most of my growing up years in the suburbs there. I also graduated from Luther College with a degree in Psychology, and spent a year as a nanny for four children.

I am now married and have two small children of my own, as well as a dog. I love to spend time with them, go for walks, drink coffee, watch TV and read mysteries. I enjoy going to the Tri-State Forum at Wartburg Seminary when I have the chance.
