What a lively hymn, and what great theology! We are the "good news" people. Our lives and worship reflect the celebration of the presence of the living God—Jesus the light in our darkened world.
Sunday morning worship gives us the chance to celebrate this good news, and the chance to tell others the story they hunger to hear. Sunday morning worship becomes the melody that haunts us throughout the rest of the week, played many times in our hearts, repeating itself at the most surprising moments. It will not let us go.
Prayer
Thank you Lord for the song in my heart. Thank you Lord for the celebration. Let my voice join with the chorus of angels in giving you praise. Rejoice! Amen.
