Devotion
“O fear the Lord, you his holy ones, for those who fear him have no want.”
Fearing, or revering, God, sets us on the right path for living this life. Whether gazing at the night sky full of stars, witnessing an ocean sunrise, or being overjoyed by the love of family and friends, we all have moments that almost demand a pause to recognize and consider God’s greatness—moments that cut through the noise of the world and bring us closer to the divine. Hopefully, these experiences provoke reflection about how incredible it is that the One who created the whole universe also loves and looks after each one of us. We can stand in awe, in fear, in reverence of God and open our eyes to all the ways in which our almighty Creator cares and provides for his children.
Prayer
Holy God, help us to see your greatness and care. Help us to see that what you give is always more than enough. Amen.
