- must gain admission to the institute of her choice and provide written confirmation of the admission to the institute before the scholarship is disbursed;
- must show that her institution is sharing the cost of the summer institute by providing financial support in a variety of ways such as transportation, staff support as necessary, etc;
Additional Scholarship Committee Considerations- Applicant's expectations from the institute clearly stated and attainable;
- Preference is given to applicants who have the terminal degree in their discipline;
- Preference is given to applicants with at least three years experience in teaching or administration;
