Devotion
“They will receive blessing from the Lord and vindication from the God of their salvation.”
Many of us have a place we want to visit before we die. For the Apostle Paul it was Rome. “I am sure that when I come to you, I shall come with the fullness of the blessing of the gospel of Christ.” (Romans 15:29). It is our calling as well: “blessed to be a blessing.”
What blessings have you received? For one thing, we have received the glorious gift of forgiveness; the healing of troubled hearts and minds; the blessings of God that can mean new beginnings for ourselves, in our homes and our communities. God has broken down every barrier between heart and mind.
Bless you as you visit God Pause. Now, go on with the day, knowing you are truly blessed with the gospel of Christ.
Prayer
Help us this day, O Lord, to be your blessed assurance of healing and hope. Amen.
